In loving memory of Rick Steele

Meet the Founders!

Rick and Jessica Steele began this journey together in 2016, striving to support local veterans and connect them with healing resources. As they shared their stories and learned from others, they discovered how they could help and make an impact on other veterans in need. It eventually evolved into Concord Veteran Care Project, which became an official non-profit organization as of January 2nd, 2024. Over time, they connected veterans to much-needed resources. With the motto “Teamwork Makes the Dreamwork” and “Together We are Stronger,” their plan is to build bridges within the community to ensure that all the needs of local vets and their families are met.

Built By Veterans, For Veterans

We know the terrain. Our team combines experience and dedication to serve our community! We are here to provide a sense of belonging and a safe home-away-from-home experience to local veterans and their families.

Together, we can ensure that every veteran has someone to lean on.

Because no veteran should ever walk alone.
